Priorities

For Ferndale, not the developers

Ferndale is a community, not an investment opportunity. We need thoughtful planning and sustainable growth. City Hall cannot be a rubber stamp for developers.

A Green New Deal for Ferndale

Our goal is to make municipal buildings carbon-neutral and waste-free by 2030. We must buy back street lights, fight DTE rate hikes, and invest in green infrastructure.

Affordable housing for all

All new housing must be 100% affordable. We must defend Autumn House and invest in green public housing, and start a community land trust.

Sanctuary for all

Our city needs a citizens’ police accountability board. We must refuse cooperation with ICE and provide material resources for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Nada’s Vision

“I am running for Ferndale city council to do what is right for our city, not what is easiest. I want to make our city welcoming to all races and socioeconomic backgrounds. I am determined to make our city works for us and not developers. I also want to further our progressive values by making us the local leaders of the Green New Deal.”
